Founded in 2012 by Craig and Evelyn Macher, ShineCo Cleaning is a Cambridge, Ontario based company dedicated to providing high-quality residential and commercial cleaning solutions.
ShineCo Cleaning's core values focus on professionalism, trustworthiness, and attention to detail, underpinned by full business liability insurance and a customer-centric approach. The company prides itself on creating lasting first impressions for businesses and comfortable, stress-free homes for its residential clients.
Our friendly and dedicated team undergoes thorough training and uses valuable Canadian-based training and programming to ensure WSIB, ESA, OHSA, and other government standards are kept, with the help of BrightSpace apps, Human Resources, Health & Safety with Peninsula Canada. We hold regular reviews covering safety and basic cleaning techniques, inspections at all workplaces for compliance.
We recently introduced upgraded management software to help us track arrivals and departures, maintain quality control, conduct joint inspections, and gather client feedback, ensuring everyone stays informed and connected. Recent changes to ESA legislation for Employee Washroom Cleanings has necessitated detailed timestamped reporting; ShineCo is leading other businesses as we do our best to stay current and follow any compliance regulations, especially when they change rapidly as in the pandemic.
Additionally, at all of our sites, we implement quality assurance measures to verify cleanliness. Just because it looks clean doesn’t mean it’s truly clean, and we can provide real-time data to our clients through random cleanliness testing. We're committed to keeping your spaces not just looking clean but genuinely clean, and we’re always here to ensure your satisfaction.

Green Seal Approved Detergents
Our cleaning detergents include Green Seal approved products and are fragrance-free, non-toxic and non-irritating.
Norwex® Family of Products
For residential and commercial janitorial maintenance, ShineCo Cleaning uses the Norwex family of products. This approach allows us to rely on water for many cleaning applications rather than using unnecessary chemical cleaners.
Fragrance-Free by Choice
Strong fragrances aren't necessary for a space to feel clean. ShineCo Cleaning uses fragrance-free products with no synthetic fragrances, making our cleaning approach a thoughtful option for homes and workplaces where fragrance sensitivity is a concern
